Andy got a tip about this one from Waterfall Legend Bernie Boyer. A small crew braved the storm the previous weekend and made it to the top of this beauty. However they ran out of time, weather, and daylight.
So Andy planned a return visit which I was able to join in on. We had no problems finding Deception Falls this time around!

We also checked out a smaller waterfall on the un-named tributary just to the east of Deception Falls.

We actually finished up in plenty of time to squeeze in some more. However heavy rain and 35 degree weather with only one set of dry clothes to change into put a quick end to any additional plans. Unless those plans involved a cold beer in hand and roof over my head (or tailgate in this case).
