Woody Ridge Panorama
On one of our previous hikes, the Professor and I were admiring the view of the Black Mountains from the Big Butt Trail. We were discussing that neither of us had ever been up to Celo Knob or Winterstar Mountain. So for this hike, we decided to change that.
Our original thought was to do it as a shuttle hike. However, I was able to find a Zach Track that would enable us to do the hike as a loop! Thanks Zachary Robbins for this detailed write-up and GPS track.
No need for me to duplicate Zach's efforts, so I am just going to post some photos from our hike!

This was a great hike and a great day! One of my new all time favorite loop hikes! Total hike was about 11.7 miles with about 3,700 feet of elevation gain. With approximately 3,200 feet of climbing over the first 3.1 miles!
