Mark and Me by a Waterfall on Beechflat Creek
Steve Livingston first documented the waterfalls on Beechflat Creek back in 2017. Earlier this year, some of my Team Waterfall friends paid Beechflat Creek a visit which inspired Mark and I to follow in their footsteps.
We started from the Mountains-to-Sea Trail at about the 5,600 feet mark and followed the creek downstream to about the 4,500 feet elevation line.
What an amazing stretch of creek! Here are some of the photos of what we saw along the way starting from the top and heading downstream.
We made a little loop out of our adventure by following some old forest service / logging roads back to the Mountains to Sea Trail. Here are a few more photos and the GPS Track from our adventure!

After Hike Selfie
It was still early enough to enjoy some Blue Ridge Parkway views and to squeeze another hike in. We stuck to a touristy trail to end our day with a hike up to Richland Balsam.
