Here are some photos from our epic adventure down the Right Hand Prong of the West Fork of the Pigeon River in the Middle Prong Wilderness of North Carolina!   

We started from headwaters along the Blue Ridge Parkway and followed the Creek all the way down to Sunburst!

Back in 2012 my first ever adventure with Darrin was to the Waterfalls on Bearwallow Creek in Gorges State Park, NC.   Neither of us has been back to the Paw Paws since then.  Until Now! 

Darrin managed to get a day off from work on Friday so we made a long overdue return visit to some of the Waterfalls on Bearwallow Creek!  Directions and details can be found on pages 260-261 of Kevin Adams "North Carolina Waterfalls - Third Edition".
