Earlier this year a group Team Waterfall adventurers explored an unnamed tributary of Emory Creek and found some really neat stuff!
Brenda and Mark both expressed interest in checking this area out, so I planned a return visit to show them what we had found.
Unfortunately, someone messed with our plans and closed the road to the upper access.
Plan A
I quickly came up with a plan B and instead we started the hike from the Hwy 11 Alewine Road access.
While this area is loaded with trails and forest service roads, much of our day was spent was off trail! The off trail portions of this adventure are extremely difficult and should only be attempted by those experience in off trail navigation, creekwalking, and bushwhacking!
