LOST in Linville Gorge
with Scott, Dillon, and Blizzy

I've gone on dozens of hikes and adventures in the Linville Gorge Wilderness over the past 20 years, but for some reason I have never done LOST (Lower Original Scramblers Trail). So when Professor Scott Burns suggested LOST, I took a break from the 20th Annual SSPBDT Mancation to join Scott and Dillon for my first LOST experience!
Prior to meeting the others, I did a short sunrise hike to The Pinnacle and a short section of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail.
We had originally planned to start at Conley Cove, but that entire area of the Gorge was invaded by a Bear Hunters convention, and there was no safe parking to be found. So instead we started at the Sunshine Trail which was a far less crowded alternative.
Our first stop was Razor Point.

From Razor Point, we worked our way down to The Razors Edge!

From Zen Point, we began our LOST adventure! The highlight of LOST is Little Seneca and The Balcony! Of all the amazing spots in the Gorge that I have been to, this is my current favorite!

After hanging out at the Balcony for a while, we finished up LOST and completed our loop using the Rock Jock Trail and road walk along Kistler back to the Sunshine Trailhead.
