Last fall I took a photo in the Linville Gorge that caught the eye of my friend Lesli.  She sent me a message and said she would love to get a large print of the photo for her family's cabin.  We quickly came to a mutually beneficial agreement.  I offered to make a large canvas print of the photo in exchange for a complimentary stay at the Parkway Peek Cabin!

This past winter Andy discovered some ice covered waterfalls on an un-named tributary of the West Fork of the Pigeon River. 

Scott Burns and I decided to take advantage of some higher than normal waterflow and check out Andy's discoveries!

I also included a few morning twilight shots from along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Our exploration was cut short due to my worst Yellow Jacket attack ever! My Virginia Tech hat was lost to a swarm of Bees!

The creeks were already swollen the days before the worst of Tropical Storm Fred wrecked havoc on the Moore Cove Falls Area of the Pisgah National Forest.  Jen and I decided to take advantage of the swollen creeks and explore some low flow tributaries around Moore Cove.
