In my opinion night photography is one of the most challenging areas of photography. It involves a lot of trail and error (mostly error). It has been a while since I last played around with any night photography, so Amy and I decided to take advantage of the rare Super Blue Blood Moon and head up to the hills of North Carolina far away from the city lights.
Our friend Rhonda has about a 20 acre horse farm outside Columbus, NC which seemed like a good place to set the tripod up! Rhonda also requested that I get a few night time shots of her house. It was a very enjoyable evening. Here are some of the better shots:
