Upper Chattooga River
Team Waterfall Hike
Jackson County, NC
with Andy, Dillon, Scott, Thomas, Kitty, Darrin, Bob, Spencer, and the Dogs
Saturday, December 5th, 2015
For the main hike of our Team Waterfall camping weekend, we decided to explore some of the Upper Chattooga River and it's tributaries in search of some little known waterfalls.
We had planned on taking my truck, but at the last minute Andy decided it would be easier to take his car. I made the critical mistake of leaving my camera in my truck, so all of my photos from this hike were taken with a crappy cell phone (IPhone 4).
It was still a great hike which involved a little bit of bushwhacking, a little bit of tresspassing, and some very cold creek crossings. We ended up finding about a dozen waterfalls, most of which are relatively unknown.
Here are a few photos from the hike.
