New Years Weekend

Since we spent Christmas with my family, we made a trip up to Amy's Parents House for New Years Weekend.  Amy's Sister, Brother-in-Law, and nieces Grace and Caroline would also be joining us.

Amy's Dad was building a Wood Burning Stove for a friend, so I spent a good bit of time helping out and learning the art of metal fabrication

On the drive home, we always pass by the base of White Oak Mountain.  Some interesting clouds motivated us to make the short detour up the mountain to check out the views

Christmas 2010

I finally got around to going through all my photos from Christmas.

Here is a re-cap of how we spent the Holiday.


We started out at my parents house in Spotsylvania, Virgina:

After all the presents were opened up it looked empty under the Christmas Tree.  My sister's cat Rascal decided to fill the void.

However, yesterday we spotted Santa on a John Deere!

We drove up to my parents house in Spotsylvania, VA yesterday.  They still had a little bit of snow on the ground from earlier in the week.  This was the first snow I have seen this season.  I took a quick shot of this squirrel scavenging for a little food in one of the bare spot under a bird feeder.

Saturday Evening I hosted another SSPBDT Poker Night.  We actually didn't end up playing a whole lot of poker.  Instead we watched the Clemson vs South Carolina Football game, ate some good food, had plenty of FABs, and had an enjoyable evening hanging out.
