Jack and Amy's Trip to Washington State
Day 5 - Wednesday, July 11th, 2018
North Cascades National Park
Cascade Pass Trail
Plus a Washington Park Sunset with Amy
Me at Cascade Pass
My plan for the day was to visit a different section of the North Cascades National Park and hike the Cascade Pass Trail.
It's about a 7 mile (14 miles round trip) hike and over 3,000 feet in elevation gain to get to Cascade Pass.
This was an awesome hike! I am not going to do a detailed write up, but here are some of the photo highlights:
Everywhere you look there are waterfalls cascading down the mountains
The first part of the hike is on a wide track forest service road.

Hiking through the snow on the Cascade Pass Trail (Yes, this is July!)

Later that evening I had a nice dinner with Amy, and a leisurely stroll around downtown Anacortes.

We finished up the day by checking out Washington Park for Sunset!
