I've seen that type before. Or something like it. (What are there---something like tens of thousands of species of beetles?) I wonder what that weird looking "hand" thing is in the second shot. I've never seen anything quite like it in other photographs of beetles.
I think the Hand thing is one of the antennas. Kind of neat the way the end was opened up. I don't know anything about Beetles, so I have no idea what type it is either.
They look so harmless in person....this on the other hand looks like something to worry about!!! :D Great detail again! Really cool shots!
