I found myself in Toccoa, GA this morning and decided to make a quick visit to Toccoa Falls. Lighting was about as bad as you can get with the top half of the falls in full sun and the bottom half in full shade. There was some nice fall color near the top of the falls and a beautiful bright blue sky. So I settled on just the top half!

I grew up in GA and went to Ga Tech, but I never made it here. I should have, looks nice.
What in the Night of the Living Dead were you doing in Toccoa?
Toccoa Falls was the first big waterfall that I can remember seeing. My parents took me to see it when I was about seven years old when we first moved from the low country of Georgia to Decatur. We spent almost every weekend for months heading for the mountains.
Bob,
Amy and I took a little weekend getaway to Dahlonega, GA. Since we were driving right past, we stopped at Toccoa Falls on the way!
