Chapter 8 - Wildcat Creek Falls
Rabun County, GA
Sunday, May 29th, 2011
Amy and I were on our way to Moccasin Creek State park and decided to check out the Waterfalls on Wildcat Creek since it was on the way.
Wildcat Creek Falls
We were coming from the other direction, but I will give directions from Clayton, GA
Directions (from Clayton, GA):
1. From the Hwy441 / Hwy76 Intersection head west on Hwy 76 for approximately 11 miles to Hwy197
2. Turn left (South) on Hwy 197 and take that approximately 5 miles to West Wildcat Road (FS127) on the right (this will be 1.4 miles past Moccasin Creek State Park.
3. Turn Right on West Wildcat Road (FS127) and proceed for 1.4 miles to the falls.
The falls are more of a series of cascades than an actual waterfall, but still very nice. They are all viewable from the road, but can be better viewed by parking at one of the pull-offs and scrambling down the banks.

That's the only one on this current list that I've seen. Carole and I went there some years back. I think when we were camped at Blackrock Mountain State Park in the Casita.
