I missed posting the last few days because I was camping without any internet access. I did take plenty of photos! Here are a few to tide you over until I get around to going through the whole bunch!
Grandfather Mountain Sunset!
Crabtree Falls
Me on Grandfather Mountain
Taking a little Cat Nap (or should I say Bear Nap!)
Thanks everyone, but I have to come clean about the Bear. Yes, it is a real Bear, but no I was never in any danger. I would never intentionally get that close to a real bear in the wild. I was safely on the other side of a fence.

However, in addition to the Bears in captivity, there are also bears out in the wild at Grandfather Mountain. While we didn’t see it, we definitely had at least one bear visit the campground during the weekend!

Love the sunset shot its beautiful...
I really like the way you use people in the shot to give it scale...but, there's no one by the bear. Chicken !!! Hahaha
good work buddy!
Were you car camping? If so, where did you camp?
You know, I've never been to the main peaks of Grandfather Mountain. I've had chances, but just haven't done it.
Is that Mildred the bear that's in the zoo on the mountain?
Yikes! My longest zoom isn't long enough to feel comfortable with that.

Bob,
Yes we were car camping. I'll include the details when I write the trip report.
