It doesn't appear to be a stray since he (or she) appears healthy and well fed. I assume he belongs to someone in the neighborhood, however there was no collar. He seemed a bit skittish at first, but before long he warmed up to our charms.

I'll be curious to see if this was just a one time deal, or if he will be back again for another visit!

Reminds me a little of our cat, who just showed up and was also quite skittish, thus his name of Skittles. He is also gray, but with more markings, and he was a stray who stayed, even after I accidentally ran over him with the car and he had to have surgery on his back leg.
Definitely looks like a well cared for kitty.
And obviously enjoys Amy's company more than yours.
Yep, definitely well feed. I hope he's not lost. And I hope he's neutered! Or there will be plenty more visitors. Oh dear.
