Daddy Long Legs

I noticed a bunch of these guys hanging out under the eaves of my house.  I thought, that is interesting enough to be my photo of the day:

Daddy Long Legs!

I wonder, is this how baby Daddy Long Legs are made?

Did you know these guys actually have fangs like tarantulas, only so small they can't really do any damage to us? The things you can learn on Discovery Channel.

I used to pick those things up all the time to move them to places of safety when I'd find them in areas where I was moving stuff or cleaning up. I've since learned that some of them are actually venomous.

There is a myth that they are one of the most venomous species of spiders, but the fangs are too small to puncture human skin. However, I watched a "Mythbusters" where they proved that their bite can puncture human skin, but the venom is so mild it doesen't do any harm.

Love Myth Busters, or used to anyway. Haven't seen a new one in a while. . . . engineers, I guess.
